Derek (Degs) Howarth - Sound mixer & driver

The band member list would not be complete without Degs. He played keyboards with the now legendary Kendal bands We Willie Henry and The Wanderers, and the Rhythmics, and was a founder member of Freeway, before hanging up the keyboards and moving to the mixing desk, with both Freeway and the Fabulous Picasso Brothers.

Degs also looks after all the transport and maintenance needs of the band, helped by his interest in cars and mechanical skills.

Degs remains a stalwart throughout inevitable ups and downs, offering encouragement, criticism, stability, dependability and commitment throughout.
